This tea plantation is situated on a mountain in Yongde County, Lincang Tea Area, Yunnan Province, at an elevation of 1800 meters. The ethnic minorities living here consider it a sacred place because it serves as a habitat for a group of Yunnan black-necked cranes. Cranes are often associated with immortality and transcendence in traditional Chinese culture. In reality, cranes have extremely high environmental requirements for their habitats. As a result, the ancient tea trees grown in this region benefit from an exceptionally favorable growing environment, with large and glossy leaves, contributing to their exceptional quality.
